The Dunnottar is one house arranged as two self-contained bungalows. North Bungalow has two bedrooms, its own living and dining rooms, Sun Room and study. South Bungalow has three bedrooms, its own living and dining spaces, patio and garden terrace. Book either bungalow privately, or book both together as the Whole Bungalow for all five bedrooms and the full property to one group.
THE ESTATE
ONE ACRE GROUNDS ON KODAIKANAL LAKE
The one-acre estate includes lawns, garden paths, patios, garden terraces, hammocks, bicycles, bonfire spaces, and the wood-fired pizza oven. From the house, guests can step out for walks around Kodaikanal Lake, visit nearby cafés or the boating area, and return to the quiet of the grounds.

Breakfast, Meals And Room Service
Breakfast is included for every guest. Lunch, dinner, tiffin, grill, and wood-fired pizzas are available on request and charged separately. Tea, coffee, and pantry access are available through the day, and meals can be served indoors, outside in the garden, or to your room, depending on the day’s arrangements.
Daily Housekeeping
The house is looked after through the day, with daily housekeeping, laundry service, fresh towels, luggage help, and house staff on site.
Bungalow Manager
The Bungalow Manager and team are on site to help with arrival walkthroughs, taxis, transfers, bonfire setup, pizza oven setup, local arrangements, concierge help, and practical questions during the stay.
One Acre Grounds
The grounds are part of the stay: lawns, garden paths, patios, hammocks, bonfire spaces, quiet corners, and the wood-fired pizza oven. If both North and South are occupied, the outdoor spaces are shared only between the two bungalow groups.
