HOW OUR BOOKING PROCES WORKS
Booking on request
The Dunnottar is booked on request. Choose your dates and send the booking through. Nothing is charged until we confirm your stay, usually within a day.
Payment
Once your booking is confirmed, full payment secures your dates.
Cancellation
Cancellations made 30 days or more before arrival are refunded in full.
Within 30 days of arrival, payment is non-refundable. If your plans change, please write to us; while we cannot offer a refund, we will do our best to move your stay to new dates, subject to availability.
Security hold
A refundable hold of 10% of the booking value is placed on your card on the day of arrival and released after departure, subject to the house being returned in good condition.

WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH YOUR STAY
Breakfast, Meals And Room Service
Breakfast is included for every guest. Lunch, dinner, tiffin, grill, and wood-fired pizzas are available on request and charged separately. Tea, coffee, and pantry access are available through the day, and meals can be served indoors, outside in the garden, or to your room, depending on the day’s arrangements.
Daily Housekeeping And Laundry
Daily housekeeping, fresh towels, laundry service, luggage help, and house staff on site are part of the stay.
Staff On Site And Concierge Help
The Bungalow Manager and team are on site to help with arrival walkthroughs, taxis, transfers, bonfire setup, pizza oven setup, local arrangements, concierge help, and practical questions during your stay.
Hot Water, Room Heaters And Wi-Fi
Ensuite bedrooms, hot water, electric room heaters, Wi-Fi, and the practical comforts needed for a longer stay in Kodaikanal are in place.
Private Bungalow Stay
Whole Bungalow guests have the full five-bedroom house and grounds privately. North and South guests have private self-contained bungalows, each with its own bedrooms, living and dining spaces, separate entrance, and access to the one-acre grounds.
One-Acre Grounds
If both North and South are occupied, the outdoor spaces are shared only between the two bungalow groups.
